Privacy notice
Who this notice covers
This notice explains how Access Business Network ("ABN", "we") handles personal data in the Access Rewards app and on the ABN city sites for South Dallas, Denton County / US-380 and the KC Corridor. The same baseline applies in every market and in Texas, Missouri and Kansas. The section for your state, below, adds what your state's law requires.
What we collect
- Account details you give us: email address, name, an optional phone number and your home market.
- Rewards activity: points earned and redeemed, receipts you scan, offers and missions you take part in, and the market or area each one belongs to.
- The area you choose: the market, area or ZIP code you pick to see what is near you.
- Device and usage data needed to run the service securely, such as sign-in times and error reports.
Precise location
We only use your device's precise location when you tap "near me" and choose "Use my location". Before that, we ask on a separate screen. Agreeing to these terms is not agreeing to location.
- Your coordinates are used in this session only, to rank results by distance.
- They are never stored: not in our databases, logs, analytics or event streams. The most we keep is the area or ZIP code you choose, which is never more precise than a neighbourhood.
- They are never sold, never shared with merchants or sponsors, and never used for advertising.
- We keep a record that you said yes or no and when, but not where you were.
If you say no, or your device blocks location, you can enter a ZIP code or pick an area instead. You can turn location off at any time in Profile > Privacy; we will then show the area picker without asking again.
Marketing and advertising choices
Marketing email, marketing SMS, push notifications, targeted advertising and sponsor audiences are separate choices, and each one is off until you switch it on in Profile > Privacy & notifications. You can switch any of them off again at any time. Messages about your account, points and orders are not marketing and are still sent.
We do not sell your personal data and do not use it for targeted advertising unless you switch those choices on.
Global Privacy Control and opt-outs
We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC). When your browser sends the GPC signal, we treat it as your request to opt out of targeted advertising and of the sale or sharing of your personal data, and no advertising or sponsor-audience tags load. If you are signed in, we record the opt-out on your account and it stays in place, even on devices without the signal, until you switch those choices back on yourself. If your browser still sends the signal after that, we treat it as a new opt-out.
In-app opt-outs in Profile > Privacy are honoured the same way. A later default setting or a bundled agreement never overrides an opt-out.
Who we share data with
- Businesses you deal with receive what a transaction needs, for example the reward you redeem with them. They never receive your precise location.
- Service providers who host, secure or support the service for us, under contracts that limit their use of the data.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
How long we keep data
We keep account and rewards data while your account is open and as long as the law requires afterwards. Consent records are kept as proof of the choices you made.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal data, and you can opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of your data. Use Profile > Privacy & notifications in the app. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Texas residents: your rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA)
If you live in Texas, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (Tex. Bus. & Com. Code ch. 541) gives you the right to:
- confirm whether we process your personal data, and access it;
- correct inaccuracies in it;
- delete personal data you provided or that we obtained about you;
- get a portable copy of personal data you provided to us;
- opt out of the processing of your personal data for targeted advertising, for its sale, and for profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
Sensitive data. Precise geolocation (within a radius of 1,750 feet) is sensitive data under the TDPSA. We process it only with your consent, given on the separate location screen, and only in-session as described above. We do not sell sensitive data.
Universal opt-out. We honour Global Privacy Control as a valid opt-out of targeted advertising and sale.
How to make a request. Use Profile > Privacy & notifications in the app, or the contact options in the legal center. An authorised agent may submit an opt-out request for you. We respond within 45 days, and may extend that once by another 45 days when reasonably necessary, telling you why.
Appeals. If we decline your request, you can appeal through the same channel. We will answer your appeal within 60 days. If we deny the appeal, you can contact the Texas Attorney General at texasattorneygeneral.gov.
